Now I am generally not scared by Supernatural movies, but can’t watch mafia movies where people cut fingers off with pruning shears. That could actually happen - water boarding -torture -people who hate based on real actual history. Mass shootings flash floods... I find reality scary as can be

Dracula with Bela Lugosi or Frankenstein with Boris Karloff. During College I read Conversations with Don Juan... where I learned about “not seeing” that was transformative. That dealt with how we are imprinted by our culture, to protectively ignore spiritual generally evil forces.

Thank you for talking about fears and anxiety. I've lately realised that many of my fears used to rise from a fear of dying (like my fear of heights) but they have mostly gone away after depression and suicidal thoughts (and tendencies). But new fears have unfortunately arisen as I also have general anxiety disorder. I'm no stranger to panic attacks.. Thank you for talking about these things and for giving all of us a place to come after a long day. 💚 Love you
