Mom brain continues FOREVER. My sons are now 21 and 25 and mom brain is still continuing. Just different in that you only know what is going on if they tell you.

Also, speaking of stopping everything to cry.... Life has been very lifey lately.... I broke down in outright SOBBING at my office for just feeling like a mom fail...nothing big just everything all at once... The ladies I work with were so great in they way they wanted to be helpful, but it was so much all at once... Tbh... it started with my 2 teenage daughters fighting over SOCKS... that's right, SOCKS.... Anyway, thank you for this...

Listening to this episode for the 2nd time the day I happen to already by 8am cried for nothing specific... just a compound of life. First was a moment of arguing/giving in to one teenager again... Second was when my 17 year old walks out of her room and just gives me a hug... that right there... the tears rolled and wouldn't stop. I pulled away a little with tears rolling down my face and just said "I had no idea how much I needed that." She with her whole 5 foot 6 inch frame crawled in my lap, hugged me and let me cry for a few minutes.... I could have sat there for hours....but I had to get to work...

This really hit home with me, I'm a new mom of a 4 month old boy..and also dealing with postpartum, but I know I'm a good mother..
