I’m not a mom (I have a few years before I’m ready, lol) but I TOTALLY feel like moms are put down so easily for something that they do. Like, it takes so little to be considered a GREAT dad. Why does it take so much to be considered a “good” mom? My boss’ wife has a little boy who is close to three now, and I thought she was awesome for the things she did! They brought (plastic) tractors and cows to the dinner table for him to play with, and he rode horses with his dad, and he read books if he wasn’t out jumping the mud. But there is NO shame to take a moment for yourself. You’re a mom. Moms are awesome.
