@heather : Also the regular meditation you both do trains your mind to be able to let thoughts go by and not dwell on them.

Sleep hygiene is one major key to addressing insomnia. What you do Bri, with a regular bedtime and sleepy time tea is sleep hygiene as is your eye mask and earplugs. Limiting screen time before bed and other exciting or emotion creating activities like watching some tv shows or reading anything about Donald Trump is also that too.
