Book recommendation: The courage to be disliked by Ichiro Kishimi. A little different philosophy on life and relationships, but the discussion made me go back and look at my past and assumptions about how people view me. Also "Wild Fermentation" by Sandor Ellix Katz it is a book about preservation good food, culture and society, disguised as a cookbook. I was already "into" fermentation when I bought it, but It changed my view of food. I tend to hang on to books that change the way I think about things, these 2 are staying. Thanks, I love your podcast.

Book recommendation: Either of the books by Jenny Lawson, especially Furiously Happy. Jenny (aka The Bloggess has a fandom of her own, and it's incredibly supportive of each other. Her books are fucking hilarious. The best part is that they're written in small chapters so they're great for reading in short bursts (bathroom reading, anyone?). Regarding toxic people, especially family, the hard thing for people is knowing when to say No. That boundary is especially hard with relatives. But sometimes it's necessary for your own sanity and self-preservation. I don't know if I have any topic suggestions for y'all, but I do know I was LMFAO while I listened to this episode. Which was a little awkward because I was out walking on my lunch break and people would look at me oddly when I burst out laughing behind them... Glickendrag! Pffttt hahahaha! 🤣
