As a kid I wasv terrified of the dark and of fire but I watched "Unsolved Mysteries" obsessively (even though it spiked my anxiety especially when I was alone) and read nonfiction ghost stories. I used to pile my most beloved toys by my window in case the house caught fire so I could "save" them. My dad's house WAS haunted, which didn't help! As an adult I still have moments of fear in the dark, but my biggest fears are related more to something happening to my son or fear of failure. ❤

thank you for sharing this. many of the things you both said I can relate to and I've been thinking about fear and feeling fears a lot lately... this has added another jum ping off point or two for my own inner explorations. thank you both once again
