Such an insomniac!! May I suggest a sunlight alarm clock.. mine has one that has a night sleep part.. I turn the light on on the clock and it slowly turns the light off.. I totally get that we have all tried everything.. I do! But the "sundown" part of it does actually help me.. passing it on.... melatonin is also super awesome!

PeeChees! I had several of those - but mine weren't notebooks to write in, they were folders that you could slide papers into so you could keep your papers organized. I'm bringing it to the Seattle SPN Con to protect my photos. FYI, the price tag says it costs 19 cents!

Love listening. Rather than actively *trying* to go shut off you brain when you can't sleep, put on some meditation music, close your eyes and get your brain to drift with the music. When I do this I see pale pinks, greens and blues and it almost feels like I'm actually floating on the music. The upshot is usually I eventually fall asleep and if I don't I still feel rejuvenated.
